About "A Woman Waiting"

Sometimes, we stand at windows and just look out. Now and then, we have to turn some unexpected corners in our lives. At other times, we need to climb fences or jump over other kinds of hurdles.

We don't always comprehend or appreciate the direction that our lives take. Sometimes, in retrospect, life begins to make sense once again, but not always. Finding love can be a challenge, but love is there, if we can just perceive it.

"Love has a complexity, multiplicity and diversity of expression."

Seeing the many faces of love and realizing the reality of love, in every aspect of our lives, can be a truly amazing experience. Perhaps in some way, love is what we are all waiting for.

The banner depicting "A Woman Waiting", is a recent photograph of a needlepoint, that I spent time working on and then framed, in the 1970's. It portrays a woman standing at a window. Who is the original artist?

I don't know, but I do know that there is a love poem that can be written for every picture.
